Introduction
AI is everywhere. From services that create images, reports, answer complex questions and create amusing video’s. It is beginning to infiltrate everyday life and is set to become as revolutionary as the internet or mobile phone. In business interactions we are seeing AI in customer service chatbots, search engine optimisation and data analytics. Solicitors, content writers, graphic designers and doctors are all using this new technology. But how is AI changing the mobile phone?

But what of the mobile phone?
Google Assistant, Apple Siri and Microsoft Copilot can now act as a virtual PA, scheduling meetings, responding to emails, reviewing and summarising documents and more. AI can scan handwritten documents and not only convert to a digital format but highlight key details, actions and follow ups.
The most obvious use of AI on a phone has been in the camera. You may have seen the adverts where people are erased or added, backgrounds changed from city to beach or old and new photo’s combined. The reality is that AI will gradually integrate into every application we use on our phones.
AI on your Mobile Phone
Here are a few of the ways that AI is changing how we use our Mobile Phone:
- Search – why just ask a question when you can ask for a recommendation, comparison or more? Instead of ‘Solicitors in Stoke’, why not ask ‘Best corporate solicitors in Stoke based on customer reviews.’ With AI you can ask multi faceted questions.
- Collaboration – AI can act as a virtual minute taker and record meetings, summarising content, taking actions and setting deadlines.
- Security – modern MDM (Mobile Device Management) systems use AI to look for threats and eliminate them and/or send an alert.
- Insights & Analytics – AI can spot trends and send alerts for you to react on. This may be your company sales, stock market movements, traffic build up on the M6 or a holiday bargain!
- Productivity – rather than separate emails into simple ‘inbox’, ‘promotions’ and ‘spam’, AI can read your emails and prioritise based on content.
What does this Mean?
AI has already come along way since ChatGBT was launched in November 2022 and is gathering pace. At Complete Voice & Data we can recommend the best phones for AI, based on your organisations needs. We’re also staying ahead of developments and our new newsletter will also keep you up to date.
As with all new technology it is both exciting and slightly scary – what the overall impact will be is yet to be seen. But one thing is certain, AI is here to stay.
