• Wi-Fi Calling – in network limited locations modern technology enables calling over Wi-Fi. This can compensate for network shortfalls. At Complete Voice & Data we can recommend hardware and data tariffs to suit.
• Dual SIM Card – we have clients who may straddle two sides of a mountain range and quite often there is a preferred network on either side. Crazy right? The solution can be a main SIM card then a secondary SIM card to eliminate blackspots.
• Satellite Phone – expensive, large, lacking in features. But when you absolutely need coverage anywhere on the planet only a Satellite Phone will do! A niche product, but until now, has been the only 100% coverage solution.

Satellite Coverage For All

Once the preserve of dedicated ‘sat-phones’, Ofcom has recently announced it will allow mobile companies and satellite operators to join forces to use airwaves known as the mobile spectrum, subject to certain technical conditions. This means that standard smartphones will be able to use the satellite network and (hopefully) eliminate network blackspots to deliver 100% coverage.

O2 has partnered with Starlink and Vodafone has announced a deal with AST. The UK is a frontrunner in rolling out this technology which will be a relief to anyone living in a rural area!
