Choosing the Right Broadband Option

ADSL 2 Broadband

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line, or ADSL, uses copper wires in your line to provide a high-quality, reliable internet connection. ADSL broadband is the most common type of internet connection in the UK. If your business is located a distance from your telephone exchange, speeds can drop or be unreliable, so if you rely on a fast business broadband for your needs, you might need something a little more robust.

Fibre Broadband

Fibre Optic Broadband uses plastic or glass cables instead of copper to allow for super-fast data transfer. There are two different types: FTTC and FTTP. FTTC works by connecting the fibre ready street cabinet to your business premises via copper wire and you can expect to receive download speeds of up to 76Mbps. FFTP on the other hand connects your business directly to the internet service provider using a fibre optic cable and as a result, it boasts download speeds of up to 330Mbps.

Leased Line

This option provides your business with its very own dedicated line to deliver data and broadband directly. This means that your business, and only your business, will be using your connection which gives you super reliable data connectivity in areas that otherwise suffer from poor signal or speeds. So, if your business broadband needs to provide reliable and speedy internet connectivity on a daily basis, then leased line is the most suited.
